November 2011 - 130T Boiler Package in Gladstone Transport and Position

ECR Group Pty Ltd, specialising in Heavy Lift, Heavy Haul and Cranes throughout the Bowen Basin, Queensland and Eastern Australia, were successfully selected as the company of choice to transport and position a 130T Package Boiler for our customer in Gladstone, Qld. Our in-house engineering department planned the project from ships hook to its final destination located at the refinery.

ECR used a 15 Line Platform Trailer, 600HP Mack Titan and 620HP Kenworth Prime Movers, 200T & 450T Hydraulic Gantry System and our team of highly trained and experienced operators to move and position the 130 tonne Package Boiler. We loaded the Boiler onto our Platform Trailer at Gladstone Wharf and travelled approx - 8klm to the refinery. It was then trans-shipped onto our 9 Line SPMT and finally positioned in place with our 450T LNL system.

Our customers’ confidence in ECR Groups ability to deliver and position the Boiler Package was justified in the successful completion of this job. Awarded to one of the only local companies that could undertake this project with the right equipment and trained personnel.
