November 2011 - Anglo Foxleigh EX3600 Move
ECR Group Pty Ltd, specialising in Heavy Lift, Heavy Haul and Cranes throughout the Bowen Basin, Queensland and Eastern Australia, were successfully selected as the company of choice to move an EX3600 excavator onsite for our customer. Our in-house engineering department, with up to date software packages likeLift Planners / CAD and Solid Works, calculated out the project to the millimeter.
Our Heavy Lift / Heavy Haul Division used our 18 Line SPMT ( Self Propelled Modular Trailer), 600HP Kenworth truck and 4 of our highly trained and experienced operators to move the EX3600 onsite, approximately 10klm at the Middlemount mine site. Once loaded on to our SPMT, the transportation of the digger to its new location took only 3 hours. Our customer was extremely satisfied with this result meaning the excavators downtime was minimised and utilisation of EX3600 for production had been increased.
